GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE KEYLODGE
- Definitions
Owner: refers to the owner who commissioned Keylodge to put it up for seasonal rental;
Operator: refers to Keylodge in its capacity as para-hotel operator;
Host: refers to Keylodge in its capacity as manager of the vacation rental vis-à-vis the traveler.
Traveller or you: refers to people who have booked a furnished tourist accommodation for seasonal rental through Keylodge;
Mandate: refers to the contract concluded between the owner and Keylodge for the para-hotel operation of the property.
Furnished tourist accommodation: refers to the property that is rented out on a seasonal basis.
- Object
Keylodge carries out a para-hotel activity whereby, as operator, it rents out accommodation to travellers.
Travellers book accommodation mainly through specialised online platforms and conclude the booking and accept these general terms and conditions of sale by booking their stay.
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to define and organize all the rights and obligations of the parties.
These general terms and conditions of sale can be consulted from the www.keylodge-holidays.com website and are automatically accepted by the customer when booking.
- Essential obligations of Keylodge and the Traveller
- Essential obligations of the traveller
As part of the execution of their reservation, the traveler undertakes in particular to:
- Pay the price before arrival in the accommodation, i.e. the prices of the stay, extras, tourist tax and the security of the deposit;
- Proceed with its registration, the terms and conditions of which are provided for in Article 6.b of these conditions;
- Make reasonable use of furnished tourist accommodation in accordance with Article 21 of these conditions.
- The essential obligations of the Host
As part of the execution of the reservation, the Host undertakes in particular to:
- Provide the traveller with access to the accommodation as well as the ancillary services mentioned in Article 3 of the booking contract;
- Carry out a cleaning service before the traveller's stay under the conditions of Article 14 hereof;
- Carry out any technical or maintenance intervention when necessary for the smooth running of the traveller's stay as provided for in Article 22 hereof.
- Noise
Noise pollution and noise are strictly forbidden in Keylodge accommodation.
It is essential to guarantee the tranquility and peacefulness of the neighborhood and the neighborhood of the accommodation that the Traveler occupies during his reservation.
In the event of noise pollution, Keylodge reserves the right to mandate a private security company to intervene on site: place of booking.
The private security team is authorised by Keylodge to enter the accommodation in order to put an end to all noise pollution, to evacuate people who should not be present in the accommodation (if the capacity of the accommodation is not respected and it is higher than the limit set by Keylodge).
In the event of non-compliance with this clause, resulting in a disturbance to the neighborhood and the tranquility of the neighborhood: Keylodge reserves the right to simply suspend the stay, without refund of the stay and the nights not spent.
Keylodge also reserves the right to call in the event of non-cooperation by Travellers.
The first intervention of the security team will be invoiced to the Traveller and debited via the bank imprint of the deposit for an amount of €100.00 including VAT (one hundred euros).
Each additional intervention will be invoiced at €150.00 including VAT (one hundred and fifty euros).
- Authorized Capacity
The maximum capacity allowed in the accommodation is specified in the listing.
- Exceeding the maximum permitted capacity
Exceeding the maximum permitted capacity is subject to the written approval of Keylodge. The traveler can make the request to Keylodge by e-mail at: reservations@keylodge.fr.
If the Traveller has not received express permission from Keylodge to exceed the maximum capacity, Keylodge is entitled to ask the persons not included in the booking to vacate the premises without any compensation. Unauthorized occupants will also have to pay the tourist tax for the nights consumed, as defined in Article 16 of these T&Cs.
- Declaration of the number of occupants at the time of booking
When pre-booking, the Traveller must specify the number of occupants who will stay in the accommodation. The Traveller has the possibility to modify this information until the day of arrival in his Online Check-in.
The number of occupants indicated will allow Keylodge to ensure the supply of household linen in accordance with the needs of the stay as well as to collect the tourist tax when paying for the reservation.
In the event of an error or an incorrect indication of the number of occupants staying, Keylodge will ask you to regularise the information and pay the tourist tax for those who have not yet paid it, as defined in Article 15 of these T&Cs.
- Conditions of access to accommodation
The transfer of access to tourist accommodation is subject to compliance with the following conditions:
- Full payment of the reservation and security of the deposit
The Traveller must pay in full for their reservation before entering the accommodation and must have secured their deposit via a bank imprint.
- Online check-in
The Traveller must have checked in: Check-in Online. In order for the check-in to be validated, the traveller must:
- Sending your identity document
- Transmit your phone number and e-mail
- Communicate your approximate time of arrival
- How to access your accommodation: on Arrival:
The terms and conditions of access to your accommodation are accessible from your digital welcome booklet, once the conditions of access to the accommodation have been met as defined in Article 6 above.
- Check-in and early check-in
The check-in start time is indicated in your welcome booklet. You will be able to access the accommodation from this time in complete autonomy.
Any request for early arrival (before the time indicated in the welcome booklet) must be the subject of a written request to our service by e-mail: reservations@keylodge.fr.
The request for early arrival may be granted depending on the possibilities offered by Keylodge's booking and management schedule.
Early access to the accommodation will be subject to additional billing to the Traveller.
- Access to accommodation and keys to accommodation
The following information can only be consulted 48 hours in advance from your welcome booklet (for security reasons), once the online check-in has been validated:
- Exact address of the accommodation;
- Key recovery procedures;
- Code of the key box (allowing you to retrieve the keys independently) in a secure safe.
The digital welcome booklet allows you to find the exact address of the accommodation, the GPS coordinates of the accommodation, as well as a detailed explanation of the route to take to access the accommodation independently.
In the case of autonomous access:
The collection of the keys to the accommodation is also carried out independently, via a connected key box system unless otherwise stipulated by Keylodge by e-mail or in the digital welcome booklet.
The key box code issued in the welcome booklet is not functional before the indicated arrival time.
In the case of physical access:
You will be given the contact of the person who will welcome you on site. It is necessary to contact the person in charge of your key collection and reception to arrange an appointment (time) for the collection of the keys.
Contact information and possible key delivery times will be indicated to you by e-mail or in the digital welcome booklet.
- Carrying out the inventory
In accordance with Article 11 of these conditions, the Traveller must carry out an inventory of the Tourist Accommodation.
- How to access your accommodation: at Departure
The terms and conditions of access to your accommodation are accessible from your digital welcome booklet, once the conditions of access to the accommodation have been met as defined in Article 6 above.
- Check-out and Late Check-out
The maximum check-out time is indicated in your welcome booklet.
The accommodation must be vacated at the latest at the time indicated, in complete autonomy.
Any request for late check-out (after the time indicated in the welcome booklet) must be requested in writing to our service by e-mail: reservations@keylodge.fr.
The request for late check-out may be granted depending on the possibilities offered by Keylodge's booking and management schedule.
Late departure from the accommodation will be subject to additional billing to the Traveller.
- Handover of the keys to the accommodation
For the case of autonomous access:
The keys to the accommodation are returned independently, via a connected key box system unless otherwise stipulated by Keylodge by e-mail or in the digital welcome booklet.
The code of the key box issued in the welcome booklet is not functional after the indicated check-out time.
Keys must not be left on the door of the accommodation, under the doormat or in the mailbox.
If it is not possible to hand over the keys in the key box provided for this purpose, you must contact Keylodge assistance by phone on (+262) 02.62.83.00.50 in order to be assisted in your process.
You remain responsible for the set of keys and the accommodation if they have not been returned to the safe (connected key box) provided for this purpose after your departure.
Travelers may be charged fees related to the collection of keys by Keylodge as well as in the event of a claim related to the correct closing of the accommodation, if the procedure for handing over the keys is not respected.
In the case of physical access:
You will be given the contact details of the person who will collect the keys. It is necessary to contact the person in charge of your key collection to arrange an appointment (time) for the collection of the keys.
Contact information and possible key delivery times will be indicated to you by e-mail or in the digital welcome booklet.
Keys must not be left on the door of the accommodation, under the doormat or in the mailbox.
If it is not possible to hand over the keys at the scheduled contact, you must contact Keylodge assistance by phone on (+262) 02.62.83.00.50 in order to be assisted in your process.
You remain responsible for the set of keys and accommodation if it has not been returned after your departure time.
Travelers may be charged fees related to the collection of keys by Keylodge as well as in the event of a claim related to the correct closing of the accommodation, if the procedure for handing over the keys is not respected.
- Things to check and do before you leave
Before your departure, you are asked to check the following:
- Closing of shutters and doors;
- Turn off lights and air conditioners;
- Returning clean dishes;
- Disposal of waste and rubbish bins in the collective or external skips of the accommodation;
- Handing over the keys in the key box;
- Emptying the refrigerator.
This list is also available from your digital welcome booklet.
- Carrying out the inventory
In accordance with Article 11 of these conditions, the Traveller must carry out an inventory of the Tourist Accommodation.
9. Customer Service & Traveler Assistance 7 days a week
Customer Service is available to the traveller under the following conditions:
Monday to Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
By phone, on (+262) 0262 83 00 50 (passenger service) or by email reservations@keylodge.fr.
An Assistance Service is available to travelers (only for Travelers staying at Keylodge) for all urgent requests via an on-call service under the following conditions:

- Traveller User Account and Access:

Keylodge provides the Traveller with an extranet (digital welcome booklet), allowing him to find the following information:
- Details and terms of the reservation;
- Cancellation policy;
- Description of the accommodation booked;
- Photos of the accommodation booked;
- Terms and conditions of access to the accommodation (for Check-in and Check-out);
- Guides to the operation of the accommodation equipment;
- Guides to the region's tourist attractions;
- Inventory module at check-in and check-out.
The booklet also has a chat room to communicate with Keylodge customer service.
- Access
The access information is entered on your digital Welcome Booklet, available before your arrival.
- Equipment Compliance
Each accommodation complies with the mandatory equipment, namely:
- Presence of a smoke detector;
- Presence of a security system in case the accommodation has a swimming pool.
In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 2010-238 of 9 March 2010, the installation of a smoke detector, officially called an autonomous smoke detector (DAAF), is mandatory in all residential dwellings.
The smoke detector installed in the apartment or house must bear the CE marking. It must comply with the NF EN 14604 standard, which must be verified by an approved laboratory.
In accordance with the provisions of Articles L 128-1 and L 128-2 of the Construction and Housing Code, which provide that private unenclosed in-ground swimming pools for individual or collective use must be equipped with a standardised safety device, the swimming pool is equipped with a safety device as follows:
- A protective barrier and means of access to the pool;
- An alarm system;
- A safety blanket and a hanging device;
- A pool enclosure or a safety device that complies with the requirements of Article R 128-2 of the Construction and Housing Code.
- Inventory
A stand-alone inventory module is available for the Traveller to carry out his or her entry and exit inventory by adding comments and photos.
The Traveller must imperatively report any deterioration or absence of elements mentioned on the module and, more generally, any problems related to the equipment of the Furnished Tourist Accommodation under the conditions of Article 16.d of these conditions.
- Sale price
The sale price of the stay is defined when you pre-book on the booking platform.
In accordance with the principle of Revenue Management, prices are dynamic and fluctuate according to objective parameters related in particular to the time of booking, the climatic context, the chosen period (school holidays), etc.
As a result, the nightly selling price may differ from one date to another.
Commercial Offers & Promotions:
Commercial offers and promotions may be available all or part of the year and for one or more accommodations.
They are stipulated on the website and the various booking portals at the time of booking, or on specific pages intended for the promotion of offers.
- Non-refundable offer:
The non-refundable offer allows you to benefit from a reduced rate (-10%) compared to the standard rate.
Upon acceptance of this offer, the standard cancellation conditions as described in Article 17 of these T&Cs are no longer applicable.
This offer includes specific cancellation conditions, which are applicable only when the Traveller subscribes to the offer.
Cancellation of the reservation does not allow for a refund. Keylodge will keep 100% of the booking amount regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- Promo Code:
The use of a promotional code may or may not be combined with other current offers or discounts depending on the nature of the promotional code available to the Traveller.
The promotional code has a validity date and is not transferable to another user.
- Trade discounts:
Commercial discounts will be visible from the listing on the www.keylodge-holidays.com website and in the booking portals.
Specific pages to view business transactions are also available.
Sale of stays directly via customer service:
All stays sold directly via customer service, i.e. not booked online independently on a booking portal, are subject to a service fee of €25.00 including VAT, which will be charged at the time of booking.
- Amount of Cleaning Fees, Laundry
The amount of the cleaning and laundry fees are indicated during your pre-booking on the online booking platform;
The cleaning and laundry service includes the cleaning of the accommodation, the supply of household linen, the supply of consumables.
This Service is carried out once at the departure of each Traveller in order to provide quality accommodation for all stays.
This Service does not in any way include the provision of the service for the entire duration of the stay.
The Cleaning Service includes floor cleaning, dusting of furniture and equipment, cleaning of sanitary facilities and bathrooms, collection of garbage and cleaning of barbecues.
The following elements do not fall within the scope of the Service provided by Keylodge and are the responsibility of the Traveller:
- Maintenance of dishes and household appliances;
- Cleaning of refrigerators.
In the event of non-compliance with this rule, Keylodge will invoice the Traveller for an additional Service related to the restoration of the above-mentioned elements.
This additional Service will be invoiced and collected by Keylodge from the Traveller through the bank imprint secured as a deposit.
The parties expressly acknowledge and agree to this condition.
- Additional Services and Extras
Keylodge offers Travellers an additional service, giving them the opportunity to book additional services and extras to improve the quality of their stay such as extra cleaning, household linen, cot, high chair, etc.
All of these Services are invoiced and collected in addition to the amount of the reservation by Keylodge.
The services can be provided directly by Keylodge or through its network of partners.
The additional and Extra Services available can be booked and consulted from your digital welcome booklet.
These services are available exclusively to travelers staying at Keylodge.
- Tourist Taxes
The tourist tax is due for all bookings as indicated below and on the booking portal.
The tourist tax is calculated according to a scale in force defined below:
- For accommodation on Reunion Island:
- Non-classified accommodation: 5% of the amount of the nights
- 1-star accommodation: €0.80 per person, per night
- 2-star rated accommodation: 0.90€ per night, per person
- 3-star accommodation: 1.10€ per person, per night
- 4-star rated accommodation: €1.50 per person, per night
- 5-star accommodation: €2 per person, per night
- For accommodation in Mauritius:
- Deposits, Bank Imprints and Property and Casualty Insurance
has. Security and amount of the deposit
In order to protect themselves from damage, the Traveller acknowledges and accepts that a deposit defined by Keylodge is taken for each booking of an accommodation.
The deposit is defined according to the type of accommodation, as follows:
- Studio & T2: €500.00 (five hundred euros)
- House and Apartment T3 and +: €600.00 (six hundred euros)
- Villa : 1000,00 € (one thousand euros)
The deposit is a bank imprint that is secured 48 hours before the date of the stay and released after 30 days.
It is essential to have the funds available on your bank.
The security of the deposit will be done under the following conditions (see article 35 of these conditions):
- Request to secure the deposit by email sent by Keylodge three days before the start of the traveller's stay;
- Securing the deposit by the Traveller two days before the start of their stay via a payment link.
Securing the deposit is a mandatory condition for Keylodge to issue access to the accommodation.
Failure to secure the deposit does not allow you to benefit from cancellation conditions specific to those specified above and does not entitle you to a refund of the stay, even if it has not been consumed by the Traveller.
- Damage insurance
In addition to this deposit, each reservation includes in its sale price a Voyageur damage and civil liability insurance, except for reservations made through the Airbnb booking portal.
Keylodge has entered into a partnership with Trustiway in order to guarantee specific compensation conditions defined below for each stay:
The insurer will cover:
a) Tenant's liability
Following a fire, an explosion, water damage, frost originating in the premises, the financial consequences of the liability of the tenants or occupants under Articles 1732 to 1735 and 1302 of the Civil Code for damage caused to the movable and immovable property belonging to the owner of the rented accommodation (except rented boat), expert fees and travel or replacement expenses as well as relocation costs made essential following a covered loss.
The insurer also covers the financial consequences, loss of rent or loss of use suffered by the landlord. Damage to other boats is excluded.
This guarantee is valid for up to 500,000 euros for all damages.
b) Remedies by neighbours and third parties
Following a fire, an explosion, water damage, frost originating in the premises, the financial consequences of the liability that tenants or occupants may incur under articles 1382, 1383 and 1384 of the Civil Code for any bodily injury and material damage caused to neighbours and third parties and for which the above tenants' liability cover has come into play.
This guarantee is valid for up to 500,000 euros for all damages.
c) Property damage liability
Other accidental damage and/or theft-vandalism caused to the movable property subject to the inventory and located inside the rented dwelling and to the immovable property belonging to the owner of the rented dwelling. This guarantee is exercised up to a maximum of 4,000 euros. https://bit.ly/3ChLTjd
In the event of damage, breakage, theft or damage: Keylodge will inform the Traveller of the claims observed and send them the estimate(s) or invoice(s) for repairs/refurbishments, with a view to an amicable resolution of the claim.
Keylodge will use the deposit (bank imprint) and/or Trustiway insurance to compensate for the cost of repairs.
In the event of a claim, a deductible will be charged to the Traveller from the deposit, in the amount of:
- Damages: €80.00 incl. VAT
- Civil liability: €480.00 incl. VAT
In the case of damage:
- For any repairs below the amount of the damage excess, Keylodge will deduct the costs directly from the Traveller's deposit;
- For any repairs for which the amount is higher than the damage deductible, Keylodge will call on Trustiway's insurance to compensate the claim that falls within Trustiway's compensation conditions or will deduct the costs directly from the deposit for claims that do not fall within Trustiway's compensation conditions.
- Restoration costs
The Restoration Fee will be charged in accordance with the following fee schedule: https://bit.ly/bpu-maintenance. For all repairs below the amount of the damage deductible, the Gateway Fees will be due to Keylodge and deducted by it from each compensation, as follows: €27.86 including VAT.
- Keylodge Degradation Detection Process
The traveller has an inventory module in the welcome booklet, allowing him to report to Keylodge any defective, broken, damaged elements that do not comply with the accommodation inventory, within the following deadlines:
- 4 hours for stays of less than or equal to 3 days;
- 24 hours for stays longer than 3 days.
The Traveller must fill in the inventory module at check-in and check-out. In addition, Keylodge carries out an inventory of the property in time-stamped photo and/or video format at each traveller's departure.
Keylodge will compare the elements in order to identify any damage and will contact the traveller in the event that any damage has been observed.
In the event that the traveler does not report any anomaly during check-in: the accommodation is deemed to be in good condition, which the traveler accepts.
In the event that the Traveller does not report any anomaly during check-out and Keylodge notes that there has been deterioration, deterioration and/or any problems related to the equipment of the accommodation or accommodation in the strict sense, the Traveller will be held liable solely on the basis of the elements collected by Keylodge that will be authentic.
It is therefore strongly recommended that the Traveller carefully carry out his exit and entry inventory in order to protect himself against compensation for anomalies observed at Keylodge.
17. Cancellation and postponement conditions
- Conditions for postponing the stay
The Traveller may request the postponement of his or her stay in the following cases:
- In the event that the local authorities have issued a red alert due to tropical storms or cyclones;
- In the event that the local authorities have pronounced a generalized lockdown measure due to the Covid-19 health crisis.
This list is exhaustive.
In the aforementioned cases, the Traveller will benefit from a credit note whose amount will be fixed and equal to the amount paid for the initially planned stay.
They will then be able to book a stay again at a later date for the same accommodation or another of their choice depending on the availability of the accommodation.
As the price of the stays is dynamic in accordance with Article 12 of these conditions, if the amount of the credit note does not cover the entire price of the new stay, the remaining balance to be paid is the responsibility of the Traveller.
- Cancellation conditions
- For the Keylodge platform
- The case of apartments:
The Traveller can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 5 days before the start date of the stay. Otherwise, the Traveller may always cancel his stay but the amount of the reservation will be kept in full by Keylodge as compensation.
- The case of houses, villas
The Traveller may cancel their booking free of charge up to 14 days before the start date of the stay. Otherwise, the Traveller may always cancel his stay but the amount of the reservation will be kept in full by Keylodge as compensation.
In the event that the Traveller is affected by the Covid-19 disease, his stay is maintained and he will not be able to obtain any refund, unless he has subscribed to the Trustiway cancellation insurance offered by Keylodge under the conditions below.
- Non-refundable offer case
This offer includes specific cancellation conditions, which are applicable only when the Traveller subscribes to the offer.
Cancellation of the reservation does not allow for a refund. Keylodge will keep 100% of the booking amount regardless of the reason for cancellation.
- Additional cancellation insurance
Keylodge offers Travellers the option of taking out additional cancellation insurance, which is invoiced in addition to the amount of the booking, according to the terms and conditions defined below:
The traveller has a period of 10 days from the moment he or she books, after this period it will still be possible to subscribe to the insurance but a 7-day gap will be taken into account, which will block the guarantees.

In the event that the Traveller has booked via a partner platform (Airbnb, Booking, etc.), Keylodge invites the Traveller to refer to the cancellation conditions provided for in the general terms and conditions of each platform, available on their website, as well as to the cancellation conditions available for your booking.

18. Termination clause
Any total or partial non-performance of the following commitments may result in the cancellation of the reservation if Keylodge sees fit:
- In the event of failure to pay the price in full, in accordance with Article 6a of these Conditions;
- In the event of the Traveller's failure to register (Check-in) under the conditions of Article 6b of these conditions;
- In the event of failure to secure the deposit in accordance with Articles 6a and 17a of these conditions.
The termination will take place by operation of law, without any legal formality, at the end of a period of 48 hours from the sending to the Traveller of a formal notice by e-mail or on the messaging services of the booking portals mentioning the intention to invoke this clause which has remained ineffective, without prejudice to Keylodge's other rights.
19. Traveler Claim
Travellers have the possibility to make complaints related to their stay in the event of specific problems, anomalies or non-compliance of an element of the booking.

Keylodge will provide support as soon as possible.
In the event that Keylodge offers a solution or proposes an intervention by its technical department to resolve the complaint and the traveller refuses any passage through Keylodge, no commercial gesture may be claimed by the traveller.
20. Use of Property as a Reasonable Person
The traveller undertakes to use the property as a reasonable person and in particular to:
- Ensure that the accommodation is always locked each night and generally at each departure from the accommodation;
- Ensure minimum maintenance of the accommodation;
- Do not damage the equipment of the accommodation;
- Comply with the obligations of sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 21 of these Terms;
- Turn off air conditioners and lights when the home is unoccupied;
- Make sure to turn off the air conditioners if the windows and bay windows of the house are open;
- Ensure that the energy of the home (water, electricity) is used and consumed reasonably in a way that is responsible for sustainable purposes.
21. Use of the Internet and TV Channels
has. Charter for use of the WiFi service
The use of the WiFi service is subject, in the first instance, to compliance with the laws and regulations in force. The use of this service implies irrefutable acceptance by the user, without any signature being required, of all the provisions and obligations contained in this Charter.
He undertakes to use both his computer equipment (laptop, personal assistant) and this service, in a manner that complies with the law and net etiquette, in particular by prohibiting himself from any behaviour and any use contrary to public order and good morals.
In particular, the user must not use his equipment or this service for illegal, illicit, prohibited purposes, that is, without this list being exhaustive:
- He undertakes to respect the law and is prohibited from accessing, posting online or displaying content and information, whether or not it comes from an online publication on the Internet but considered illegal by texts or courts, such as information, messages, texts, images or videos of a violent nature, incitement to violence or hatred, degrading to the human person, pornographic or paedophile and/or of a provocative nature and offending the integrity or sensitivity of anyone;
- The user undertakes to respect the privacy of any person and the secrecy of correspondence, he or she is prohibited from intercepting any message and communication sent by telecommunications;
- It undertakes to comply with the legislation on personal data and the automated processing of personal information as well as the legislation and texts relating to copyright, trademarks, patents, intellectual and industrial property. It is forbidden to reproduce or use in violation of these laws, whether it is multimedia creations, software, texts, press articles, photos, sounds, images of any kind, trademarks, patents, designs and models, it being specified that any mention relating to the existence of rights on these elements and/or data and/or files may not be deleted and that any reproduction of a work or one of these Elements and/or files and/or data without the consent of the rights holder constitutes an infringement ;D the use of this service, the user shall refrain from:
- harvest or collect any information about third parties without their consent;
- defame, disseminate, harass, stalk, threaten anyone, or violate the rights of others; creating a false identity;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to a service and/or file, or data;
- distribute or upload material containing software or other material protected by intellectual property rights, unless it owns such rights or has received all necessary authorizations to do so; to send any unwanted message or to send "spamming";
- to send any letter and/or electronic message containing threatening, insulting, defamatory, obscene, indecent, illegal or infringing on the rights of individuals and the protection of minors;
- transmit any virus, Trojan horse, logic bomb or any other program that is harmful or destructive to third parties and/or any user;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to and remain in an automated data processing system;
- disrupt the services and/or content and/or data to which he/she accesses;
- send chain letters or offer so-called "snowball" or pyramid sales;
- to send any unsolicited advertising, promotional messages or any other form of solicitation or canvassing;
It is the user's responsibility to check that he or she has the hardware, software and browser equipment that allows him or her to use this service. The user remains solely responsible for the security and protection of his or her connected equipment. Keylodge is not responsible for possible connection problems depending on the computer and the agents do not intervene on the users' personal equipment.
The service provider may not be required to compensate for any direct and/or indirect damage suffered as a result of the use of the WiFi service by the user, the latter being under the responsibility of the users in compliance with this Charter. The user acknowledges that the service provider cannot be held responsible for the content or services to which he/she accesses and does not guarantee the accessibility of the content and services or the speed of use, as access to the WiFi service may be suspended at any time without notice.
We inform the users of the service that the new provisions applicable to the fight against terrorism imply the obligation to keep for a period of 12 months the technical connection data, namely: sender, recipient, time, duration and place of origin of the communications with the exception of their content.
You declare that you have read this Policy in its entirety, agree to comply with it and acknowledge that your equipment, its content and the use of the WiFi service are your sole responsibility.
b. TV Channels
For accommodations with access to television channels either by satellite or through an internet decoder. The traveler is not allowed to subscribe to TV channels that were not subscribed to when they arrive at the accommodation.
He acknowledges and accepts that any subscription to additional TV channels will be invoiced to him as well as the cost of the intervention of a technician in order to reconfigure the television channels initially upon his arrival.
- VOD rental
Depending on the accommodation, the traveller has access to VOD rental media.
The traveler is not allowed to subscribe to VOD rentals.
The traveller acknowledges and accepts that any VOD rental will be recharged by Keylodge.
22. Disruption of Keylodge's Mission
- Technical interventions
In accordance with the legal requirements and in fulfilment of its mandate, Keylodge is obliged to carry out any repairs necessary for the conformity of the equipment and the smooth running of the traveller's stay.
As a result, the traveller is informed that, when necessary, Keylodge may intervene in the accommodation to carry out technical interventions, without the traveller being able to object.
However, the traveller will be informed in advance of the indicative dates and times of Keylodge's intervention via the Traveller customer area, by e-mail, or any other means: sms, what's app, etc.
- Maintenance interventions: barbecues, swimming pool, garden, jacuzzi, waste collection.
Dwellings with an outdoor space, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a barbecue benefit from regular maintenance as needed, in the presence or absence of travelers on the premises. The villas benefit from a reinforced waste collection by Keylodge, in addition to the municipal collection, in the presence or absence of travellers on the premises.
However, the traveller will be informed in advance of the indicative dates and times of Keylodge's intervention via the Traveller customer area or by e-mail or any other means: sms, what's app, etc.
23. Method of execution
Keylodge will carry out and organise its activities freely and independently, without any relationship of subordination with the Traveller. The Traveller acknowledges that any booking of stays will be concluded directly between Keylodge and the Traveller. The Services will be provided by Keylodge and its staff.
24. Date of signature and effective date of the booking contract
The booking is concluded on the date of the booking confirmation.
The reservation takes effect from the same date.
25. Limitation of Liability
The traveller is reminded that Keylodge, in its capacity as operator, within the framework of an agreement with the owner of the property, is subject to the principle of non-liability.
He can therefore not be held responsible in particular:
- The condition of the property;
- Failure to comply with the legal requirements of the Urban Planning Code, the Construction and Housing Code and the Tourism Code;
- Failure to comply with the mandatory administrative procedures in the context of seasonal rental.
Only the owner is liable for this.
26. Modification of the General Booking Conditions
Modifications, amendments and additions made to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale will only be valid if they are communicated by e-mail to the traveller.
In the event of changes to these general terms and conditions, the new terms and conditions will take effect within one month of their transmission in writing to the traveller.
If the Traveller does not accept the new terms and conditions, he/she may cancel his/her booking by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt with one month's notice.
If you fail to terminate within 7 days of receipt of the new general terms and conditions, the changes are deemed to have been accepted by the Traveller.
27. Force majeure
The party who invokes a case of force majeure as defined by Article 1218 of the Civil Code, temporarily or permanently preventing him from fulfilling his obligations in whole or in part, must notify and justify it, without delay, to the other party.
Subject to the application of Articles 1218 et seq. of the Civil Code, if the case of force majeure takes effect for more than one month, either party may terminate the Contract by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, subject to thirty (30) days' notice.
Force Majeure includes, but is not limited to, the following: acts of God, war, explosion, fire, flood, storm, earthquake, insurrection, terrorist acts, riots, civil unrest, rebellion, social conflict.
28. Information on the right of withdrawal
The traveller does not have a right of withdrawal, under Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the latter must refer to the cancellation conditions of the booking.
29. Assignment
Keylodge may freely transfer all or part of the rights arising from this reservation, in particular in the event of a restructuring of Keylodge, whether in the context of an acquisition, merger/absorption, partial contribution of assets or sale of goodwill.
In this case, the transferee will be bound by the same rights and obligations as Keylodge.
In the event of an assignment, Keylodge undertakes to inform the Traveller as soon as possible.
The Traveller already declares that he or she consents to this assignment and may not oppose it.
30. Independence of the Parties
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended and shall not be deemed to establish a de facto or de facto partnership or joint venture between the Parties, or to constitute a contract of employment with the other Party, or to authorise either Party to enter into or enter into any commitments on behalf of the other.
31. Confidentiality
Each Party undertakes, throughout the duration of the reservation, not to disclose to anyone any Confidential Information of the other Party. Each Party may disclose Confidential Information of the other Party:
- To those of its employees, officers, representatives and advisors who need to know such information in order to enable the Party concerned to fulfill its obligations under the Agreement. Each Party shall ensure that its employees, officers, representatives and counsel to whom it discloses the other Party's Confidential Information comply with the provisions of this Section; and
- If required by law, by a court or by a competent governmental or regulatory authority, provided that notice of such required or necessary disclosure is provided to the other Party as soon as practicable prior to disclosure;
- If the information was lawfully in his possession before receiving it from the other party;
- If the information had, on or after the date of signature of this agreement, fallen into the public domain
32. Data protection – personal data
The Traveller authorises Keylodge to enter all the information concerning the Traveller and the information contained herein, on computer files, the Traveller being able to exercise his right to rectification under the conditions provided for in Articles 37 et seq. of Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.
For the purposes of the booking, Keylodge collects personal data concerning the Traveller in accordance with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016.
The company undertakes to implement all technical and organisational measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of the personal data collected.
This data will be kept by the latter in accordance with the law in force.
Keylodge undertakes not to use the personal data collected other than for the purpose of performing this Agreement as well as for storage and archiving purposes for a period of time strictly in accordance with its legal and regulatory obligations.
The Traveller is informed that he has a right of access, rectification, limitation, deletion and opposition to the processing of his data, and the right to formulate advance directives on the use of his data after his death, as well as the right to the portability of his data.
In the event of death and in the absence of instructions from the Traveller, Keylodge undertakes to destroy the data, unless its retention is necessary for evidentiary purposes or to meet a legal obligation.

Keylodge's Privacy Policy, setting out its processes for collecting and processing personal data and recalling the rights of data subjects, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is set out on its website.
33. Mediation
In the event of a dispute relating to this booking or its general terms and conditions, the traveller has the option of submitting the dispute to consumer mediation.
34. Clause deemed unwritten
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions or their annexes were to be annulled or deprived in whole or in part of its effects by a decision or event beyond the control of one or the other of the parties, this nullity or deprivation of effect shall not result in the nullity of the General Terms and Conditions.
The parties expressly agree to replace the nullified or ineffective provision(s) if either party so requests.
- Procedures for concluding the contract electronically
The Traveller books the tourist accommodation via online booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking, Keylodge...
On each platform, the Traveller has the explanatory sheet of the tourist accommodation grouping together its main characteristics, its price, its availability as well as the cancellation conditions...
To finalize their reservation, the Traveler must select the desired dates. He will then have to:
- Validate the selection;
- Provide personal information;
- Give your credit card payment information
- Accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
In order for the reservation of his stay to be finalized, the Traveler authorizes Keylodge to send instructions to the financial institution that issued his card in order to deduct the deposit and balance due.
The Traveller then receives an email confirming his reservation as well as an email providing him access to his customer area in which he must fill in his police form: fill in his personal information, send an identity document, information on the course of the stay (in particular arrival time)...
The security of the deposit takes place under the conditions of Article 17a of these conditions:
- Request to secure the deposit by email sent by Keylodge three days before the start of the traveller's stay;
- Securing the deposit by the Traveller two days before the start of their stay via a payment link.
- Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and formation of the contract
- Formation of the contract
The booking of accommodation with Keylodge, regardless of the channel (website, online booking platform, telephone, e-mail or on-site), entails the immediate formation of a para-hotel booking contract between Keylodge and the customer. This contract is governed exclusively by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS), which define all the rights and obligations of the parties.
Any reservation implies the unreserved acceptance of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale available on https://www.holidays-keylodge.fr/conditions-generales as defined in the framework of article L111-1 of the Consumer Code.
- Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The customer acknowledges that he or she has read these T&Cs before making any reservation and accepts them without reservation. This acceptance is equivalent to an electronic signature within the meaning of Article 1366 of the French Civil Code and is contractually binding on the customer.
No booking can be made without this prior acceptance.
- Terms and conditions according to the booking channel
- Booking on the Keylodge website
Acceptance of the T&Cs is made at the time of booking by means of a non-pre-ticked checkbox preceded by the statement: "I have read and accept the Keylodge General Terms and Conditions of Sale."
This acceptance click constitutes proof of consent and is equivalent to an electronic signature, in accordance with Article 1367 of the Civil Code.
- Booking on partner platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.)
When a booking is made via a partner platform, the customer acknowledges that the rental contract is concluded directly with Keylodge.
The platform's terms and conditions govern the connection only.
These Keylodge T&Cs apply in full as long as they were accessible via a link on the listing or recalled in the booking confirmation sent by Keylodge. The booking confirmation implies implicit acceptance of these T&Cs.
- Booking by phone, e-mail or on site
Any reservation made by phone, e-mail or directly with the Keylodge teams constitutes firm and definitive acceptance of these T&Cs, as long as they have been communicated or made accessible (sent by e-mail, internet link or displayed on the premises).
- Evidence and archiving
Keylodge stores electronic data relating to the booking (date, time, IP address, e-mail, user ID, booking confirmation, etc.).
This information constitutes a valid means of proof of the conclusion of the contract and the acceptance of these T&Cs, in accordance with Articles 1366 to 1368 of the Civil Code andL. 213-1 of the Consumer Code.
- Lack of a separate signature
No handwritten or electronic signature is required: online, telephone or platform booking takes the place of a contract. These T&Cs replace any contractual document and define the terms and conditions of the relationship between Keylodge and the customer.
